Here's a pic I took the day before yesterday. She stood still for a long time. Maybe wondering if any treats were going to go along with my phone. She watched it carefully. I love seeing those beautiful breast feathers!

So lovely!

I'd never heard of the Midrash. I had to look it up. Thank you for the lesson Ribh!
You're welcome. ;) A literature degree takes you down some very strange paths. My modern Literature course looked @ American Jewish authors. :lau

I had the misfortune of being sent to a convent school when I was young. I got expelled from the primary school I was at and the convent was the only local school that would take me. There were 500ish girls there and when I was there, nine boys.
What was the problem with that one might think.
The problem was, once the boys reached 11 years old they could no longer go there.:(
That's very young to get expelled. Out here, rightly or wrongly, they try everything to prevent a child from getting expelled. Most of the worst boys landed in my remedial classes but we got along like a house on fire ~ which is rather worrying, or says something about my head space that is more than a little concerning:gig.

@HappyClucker7 Every time I see the quote in your signature
The world is full of obvious things which nobody by any chance ever observesSherlock Holmes

I think of this quote

"The world is full of magical things patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper" - Bertrand Russell

It is one of my favourites. 🤗
I wonder what Russell would say if he could see his words on byc 🤔
