Remind me, were they both rescues? I could watch chickens dust bathing for hours. They are truly adorable.

Can someone help me find the post where Mel wasn’t doing great? I saw a reply, but not the post. I’ve gone back and forth thru the thread and thought I was all caught up.

Sorry, all the BYC posts are jumping around on me today. I'm losing everything then a post I haven't seen suddenly shows up.

I think something really scared my flock. Yesterday I had trouble getting them home when I let them go over to my neighbor’s yard. They would not come when called. I had to go over and hand carry one home at a time , except for a few who came at the beginning. Currently, the gate is wide open and more than half of them are choosing to stay inside the run. This is really unusual behavior for them.

Hi Flash.
Adorable! Flash looks more golden than mine around the neck - mine are more silver and their 'dos' are darker too. I think they are totally enchanting chickens and I am sure you already are having a lot of fun with Flash.
Mine are still committed flyers in the 'why walk when you can fly' school of thought. Dotty actually flew right into me yesterday - navigation remains a bit of a challenge it seems!

I have never had a chicken fly into me. That must have been quite an experience.
