He is still at the rescue until he has his surgery. I've been told that he is the sweetest boy. Even during wound cleaning and potty clean up he just purrs and rubs his head in your hand. He wants to be petted while he eats too.

Aww, I would want to adopt him!

Hazel has a broken beak tip! Her upper beak. Must have happened in the last day or so. How would this happen, is there something I can do or not do to prevent more damage or damage to anyone else? It will never grow back, right? She can eat fine so far it seems.

A couple of other regular members of this little community are in PA - probably a couple of hours West of us. But we have people all over the US and in Canada, Australia, Spain and the UK. I think that more-or-less covers it. It is fun having the whole world - it is always summer somewhere for our flock!

You wouldn't know it's summer here this year! Mostly it's been wet & cold ~ & @ BY Bob, don't point out you get snow & hoar frost while we never see that! It's all relative!

I'm going to be his medical foster. He broke both back legs, will need one amputated, and one will have pins placed in it. No idea what happened, but he is only 10 months and super friendly so the rescue is giving him a chance.

These are his x-rays. He has another consult with a surgeon on Monday. Hopefully he'll have surgery ASAP and then he'll recover here. The rescue is providing every thing he needs. I'll just tend to his medical issues and aid in his recovery.

What a beautiful cat! I love you're helping him!

We get the expensive cat food from the vet so it should be a complete food. Oriental cats can develop an oral obsession, I bet that’s an unwanted trait that has developed from “selective breeding”.

There are some great quotes in his writing, but I find the stories disjointed and hard to follow.


I always felt rather upset by "The Walrus and the Carpenter". Those poor trusting oysters...

One of my all time favourite quotes ever. I do find Alice a strange choice for children. Some of the antics are extremely questionable, especially when we keep telling them: Say No to Drugs. Nowdays I can't read Alice without hearing Grace Slick sing Feed your heeeeeead!!!
