Ice, Ice Baby

I took them out some fresh water and Phyllis bolted between my legs. No ice covered grass is slowing her down. Aurora soon joined her.

Sansa and Sydney were briefly out but Hattie and Lilly stayed under cover.
This will sound odd, but if you had a pristine, snow-white, fluffy butt like Aurora, wouldn't you want to show it off at every possible opportunity?! :lau :lau

Considering how dirty it was last summer, I get it! 😁

Mary and Charlie sound so different!
Mary is a slow mover. She almost never runs anywhere. I move slowly when I'm in her company so she can read my body language and take evasive measures if she nesds to. Almost always she doesn't bother.

A whole new level of integration.
Up until today the new road-runner Princesses always slept at the end of the row. Sometimes snuggled up and sometimes separate. This is the first time they have been in the middle of the pack. Not sure if it is a shift in pecking order or just happenstance as the Princesses vary their order a lot based on who happens to go to bed first.

Note to self: clean Palace walls when it gets warmer.

This is probably the right time and place to ask, how obvious are bumbles? What shouId I look for?
Pretty obvious from what I understand. You will see them limping and the sore on the foot is easy to pick out.

Snuggle Time

Sansa is sleeping in the nest box tonight. In a counterbalance to her sucker peck of Phyllis, Hattie has chosen to snuggle with Phyllis tonight. Aggravating and heart warming all in a few days.
