I decided this evening the little terrors were big enough that I would upgrade them to full use of the dog crate for a brooder. This would give them more room to play and have full access to their dust bath that they love. How do they repay me, by destroying it in under 30 minutes. Why dust bath in the sawdust when it is so much more fun to sling food out of the feeder and wallow in it. Alex, I hope your chicks are more well behaved then my wild crew.

Who emptied their freshly filled feeder, surely not these guys. They were framed!

Karen is still living up to her name. I should refill the feeder at once!

HAHA. I was just thinking, just how messy my little squirts are as I read this post! You are not alone. Shanny, even sleeps in the food bowl.
