I just Love how much fluff is in Snow’s pantaloons 😂

Sad news is my hula hoop purchase to try tricks with Belle will have to wait until I’m allowed to go out. Don’t think it comes under essential buying as a reason to leave the house 😅
Good luck getting through it! Break out the jigsaw puzzles and books!

I was trying to get mine to pose like your first picture this morning but they will not cooperate. One of them always stands in the dish or grabs food and runs off with it. Honestly herding cats would be simpler.
Not your cats though. Someone else's cats. Maybe CCCL's cats.

Warning... I’m going to owe SOoooo much chicken taxes for this!!! Here’s a quick Fluffy butt instead of the heavy opinions below

I’m not a fan myself, despite living the the pot capital of Canada. Especially of the harder drugs. We are in the midst of a fentanyl overdose crisis.

Legalizing it has reduced the strain on our justice system somewhat. It also slightly reduced one of the income streams for organized crime, and made offers a safer unadulterated source for users. Honestly I don’t see it as much more damaging than some other legal substances, Alcohol and cigarettes are just as bad. I’ll stick to beer and scotch personally, thanks.

What I would really like to see is more funding and effort from our government towards treating mental health and addiction, rather than just relying on various religious and volunteer organizations to do the actual work on the frontlines trying to help people struggling with these issues. If a fraction of what has been spent on Covid awareness and the huge government subsidies had been directed towards this, we could have almost eliminated the problems with homelessness, addiction, and untreated mental illnesses.

Further tax payment will be coming once this weather passes and my chickens will actually go outside again. 80kmph winds, sub zero (Celsius, I know, we are wimps) temperatures and the related RV boondocking issues with this, don’t ask, you don’t want to know... just accept things are a little more “uncomfortable” here at the moment. Everyone is ok, and we got our truck running again! (Oxygen sensor and fuel filter...)

:goodpost: a big yes to treating addiction as a mental health problem. I'd also like to see preventative schooling eg emotional learning.

Eta I forgot my tax!

It’s a grudging truce by the heater... but that has ended as we raised the heater after it malfunctioned... all part of the you don’t really want to know windchill boondocking issues. All 5 of us were snuggled in bed the next morning and I was the one who finally got out and found the heater problem it was -2C inside the trailer yesterday morning
No frozen pipes I hope? 🥶

That's a sitting hen laying an egg? There's a look in her eyes like my hens' when I check on the nest box and somebody is in there: "What are you doing? Yes I'm in here, please go away! Now, please! Thank you!" :lau
