Not exactly a mugshot, but still cute. Bridge getting her morning cuddle.

Bridge always strikes me as a very ‘comfortable hen’ if you know what I mean.

A happy memory from the past. Which I just posted on @Ribh thread. Which I just figured out because @rjohns39 does not post on my thread and he posted while I was there. . Well this week is off to a good start.

I just witnessed the strangest thing.
Our neighbour was using his whipper snipper so the girls all ran up the far end of the garden under the yukkas.
Then Belle just kept shaking her head. Now he has finished with it she has stopped (thankfully, otherwise my worry would have grown)
Maybe it was the pitch/decibels it was running at was annoying her?

I'm having a language issue here. What is a whipper snipper? My guess would be what we call a weed wacker. Am I close?

She was counting the revolutions of the whipper snipper . (Trying to get an accurate count)

We have had some Patsy discussions around here lately and I have a sort of melancholy about her right now. When I see Lilly I think that Patsy could still be with us too. She was so regal and this shot really captures that.

Mugs Monday!!

Bokky sat on my lap for the first time!! She was looking sleepy so I picked her up and sat holding her, giving her neck a pat.
Then I let go and told her she could go if she wanted. She turned around and sat down and stayed for ages until I put her down!!

Those are wonderful moments. Congratulations. Not all get to experience them.
