Any ideas why Belle isn’t digesting grass properly?
I’ve had more of the full grass like poops from her, but not combined with the excessive water drinking.
She seems fine in all other ways, eating fine, active, doing chickeny things, crop full at night and empty in the morning.
I’ve recently gotten granite grit I had in a feeder so this afternoon I scattered a fair bit in the run incase she needs more and gets more into her that way

I would love to ignore it because other than the poop she is absolutely normal, but I can’t stop considering the options of what’s going on

The only thing I can think of is that it might be too fibrous for her.

Maybe the grit will help thanks MJ, the more observant you are the more it feels there’s always something to worry about

I know some people on here ferment feed.
I have read about it but could any of you who do it regularly give me a run down on the method you use, please?

I definitely took his comment as a negative. I like Bob and his wife very much, but that comment took me completely off guard.

I think you know Bob well enough by now to know that it wasn’t a personal attack. It was a continuation of the jocular jabs you have on here and by no means was intentioned to offend you or make you upset or cross.
I’m sure he will be on here soon to reply to you, but you know he is an extremely emphatic, caring and kind human being who wouldn’t intend for his comment made in jest to your own to be taken in such a hurtful manner, Alex.
We all know how much you are in pain atm, please don’t think for one moment any of us would undermine the loss you are feeling
