Oh stop!!
She is amazingly breathtaking (like Lilly, Fat Bird, Mary, Charlie, I think @micstrachan has one, sorry if I have forgotten others! My memory isn’t great)
Instead I got 2 Sussex’s, one speckled (whom I suspect is a mix because she’s not close to Snow’s girth although the same age) and a white one 😂🤷🏻‍♀️
I had grey marans lined up but a fair drive then i joined a local fb group and got these from a farm around the corner! 😁

Any ideas why Belle isn’t digesting grass properly?
I’ve had more of the full grass like poops from her, but not combined with the excessive water drinking.
She seems fine in all other ways, eating fine, active, doing chickeny things, crop full at night and empty in the morning.
I’ve recently gotten granite grit I had in a feeder so this afternoon I scattered a fair bit in the run incase she needs more and gets more into her that way :barnie

I would love to ignore it because other than the poop she is absolutely normal, but I can’t stop considering the options of what’s going on :he
I wonder if she has enough grit to grind it up - is she able to free range on ground that would have small rocks?

Not sure what's going on. Sick again. If you pray, say one or two for me. I was just in the ER. Trying to wait to get in for my follow up appt. with my Dr. tomorrow. Wish they could figure this out. Why does my potassium keep dropping? Not taking anything like water pills. If this keeps up, I'll be placing chickens. 😭. I can't stand without the woozy/dizzy. :(
Oh dear. I hope they can get to the root of the problem soon or that it sorts itself out.

Get well soon. 💐🌻🌹🥀🌺🌸🌷🌹:hugs

Thanks. Minnie was slightly better this morning. I tuned her wormer in with a concoction of baby bird formula with yogurt and molasses since her crop was still a little puffy.

Sadly, I was mistaken about Ruby. She is swollen and tired. I think her days are numbered and I’m not sure how long to let it go on. 💔
So sorry about Ruby. 🥺:hugs

Thanks RC
We have a loose stone path all around the back of our house where they range, plus the gardens they dig in when ranging, even the ground in the run has small enough rocks, but yes, my thought too, hence why I scattered the granite grit in the run on top of having it in a feeder bowl hooked on the side of their cubby.
Hopefully the scattering of grit might help.
Belle is a grass addict,...🤔 how does one hold a pullet intervention?

Some grass types are very tough. The granite grit could help. You got adult grit, not the chick-sized grit? The longer the bits are the harder it will be to digest them. Long whipper-snipped / weed-whacked tough grass leaves (that she isn't snipping off herself) can be a problem.
