You've probably already thought of this, but is it possible to rig up an electric fence around the pool while the duck is sitting?

Careful or rc will land up with roasted duck which will defeat the object of trying to save them

Did I ever mention how much I love my buddy Jaffar? A stray cat got in the yard, and went after one of the younger chickens. He ran that stray off so fast (I didn’t know he could be so aggressive) I have never seen him chase anything that fast! Wonderful job Jaffar!!

Cats are so surprising.
Mine did the same I was shocked to see how my laid back placid boy turned fierce in seconds. Then he lets the girls boss him around.

Before she started feeling crappy (years ago), Ruby’s nickname was Adventure Girl, because she was always off adventuring on her own.

The thing about little Xzit, is I had a talk with her about how scared I was, and thought I lost her that evening, but yesterday she stayed with the group, and went back into the coop, when I called all the birds in last night! Maybe she learned something ?

Alex, I like to bake it. I use parchment under it AND over it so it doesn’t splatter everywhere. Your parchment needs to be cut to size... no edges sticking up or it can catch fire.
