Aww, thanks. Ruby surprised me and came out for a couple hours today. Gave me a chance to take out all the old litter on the lower floor, shop vac out the dust, and put in new bedding. We love you Ruby.Know you are loved near and far and you are an amazing fighter with a drive that few have.
This applies to you too, sweet Michelle.![]()
Ruby ate a little shredded zucchini and some freshly sprouted forage greens. (I’m trying to fill in the bald patches using these grow boxes, but keep taking them off too early and the girls demolish it.) I don’t think she touched the dry meal worms or leftover salmon from last night’s dinner.
She also drank droplets off the grass and sipped out of the puddle I created with a hose. Most importantly, she got fresh air and soaked in some sunrays. Not her best day, but not her worst, either.
I managed to squirt one small, slightly soapy bottle of warm water on her back side. Flies were interested, so I slightly misted with one squirt of permethrin.
Ruby was back in the nest box, but just came back out!
