So I'm looking up Campines. Pretty! I note the wonderful flag tails. Seems to be a common characteristic here what you're going for, aside from the Polish top knot. Legbars, Leghorns & Campines all have it. And I love it too! 😍
Campines are my insanity of choice. They have so much character & pizazz. They have such wild & woolly reputations sellers have been known to ask me if I know what I'm letting myself in for. They're not usually recommended for newbies. I find mine settle once they are laying & stop seeing me as the demon from the deep dark depths! :lau

Appears to be a deep respiratory issue. We're treating with antibiotics and antifungal. She's eating and walking.

I do so love the shape of leghorns, legbars and polish. They have a marvelous "U". The big tail makes it happen. 🥰

Sure, I would love to!

This is Bistro in the foreground who lays lovely blue eggs. Clara (left) is sharing a drink with Isabella, with Ruth in the background.

This is Rema. I just noticed yesterday that her wattles are a different size. I wonder if that's common?

This is Rosa in front and Louise, the Buff Orpington. I have four BOs and Louise is the only one who has never been broody!

Wonderful photos and beautiful ladies. My BO has never been broody and I always kind of hoped she would.

I love your automated coop door! How long have you had it?

Haha - Hey there's a hen with chicks! Is this a pic from some years ago, who is that, how many chicks are there? No wait - what's that on her back? Hey it's a planter 🤦‍♀️ Boy have I got chicks and mums on my mind :lau
Thanks for that. 🤣😂

Is this the actual explanation of their being "flighty"? 😄
