There's a new addition to my girls little family. I spotted he/she yesterday while sitting on my bench.

I will call it a she, she just came out of the tree leaning into my garden from next door. I had just put fresh water out yesterday i left it on the wall for the wild birds and she came for a drink then totally ignoring me she joined flexi, sadly I didn't have my camera.

As I was moving the lid from my raised bed this morning I heard a rustling in the tree and as I put the lid back on down she came too peck around with the girls. They seem really comfortable with each other. So cute 🤗

I've taken a picture but you will have to enlarge it to see. I would love to know what she is and what sort of housing I could add in this tree. It looks like she's moved in 😍

If you were in Australia I might think it was a Satin Bower bird. It looks about the same shape and size.
What sort of birds are local to your part of the UK?
