There's a new addition to my girls little family. I spotted he/she yesterday while sitting on my bench.

I will call it a she, she just came out of the tree leaning into my garden from next door. I had just put fresh water out yesterday i left it on the wall for the wild birds and she came for a drink then totally ignoring me she joined flexi, sadly I didn't have my camera.

As I was moving the lid from my raised bed this morning I heard a rustling in the tree and as I put the lid back on down she came too peck around with the girls. They seem really comfortable with each other. So cute

I've taken a picture but you will have to enlarge it to see. I would love to know what she is and what sort of housing I could add in this tree. It looks like she's moved in

Bloss has been too busy scampering about to have her picture taken. She's very busy for Caturday

If you were in Australia I might think it was a Satin Bower bird. It looks about the same shape and size.
What sort of birds are local to your part of the UK?

I have aged a bit since those photos so Mum insisted on taking a picture this morning but I wasn't yet up and about so I was a bit grumpy about that and fidgeted so her photo was blurry.
