Ruby is at an emergency appointment with Avian Vet right now. I’m down the street filling up my car with gas pacing back-and-forth.Well, the avian vet has not gotten back to me today. I may try to drain her myself, but she tends to have her fluid compartmentalized in a deep (unreachable by me) location. I absolutely hate the thought of her suffering. I was leaning toward attempting another drain and implant, but I need the vet for that.
ThanksAll adorable!!!
Oh no! Poor baby! So glad you found her.View attachment 2766413
Current situation sitting here with a half drowned silkie wrapped in a towel drying off on a heating pad. I think I found her in time, but she'd gotten in a 5 gallon bucket somehow that had 3 inches of rainwater from the last few days. I swear these silkies try to find ways to kill themselves.
