Miss Ruby was stumbling badly this morning. She’s having trouble walking because she has swelled up so badly. I have a call in to the avian vet. She needs help of some kind… either draining plus an implant or possibly euthanasia.

She was still eating and drinking, but is having trouble getting around. She’s taken on the penguin stance, too. My poor, little valiant fighter baby.

I'm so sorry, Michelle. You have both fought long & hard.

I think that I will have least 2 days of pullet photos there are so many.

My cut-off was when I moved her outside to live in the old coop. Here we go!

Phyllis still has to be removed from the nest. She just will not get up on her own.

She is however sitting strong. She is going to hatch those ceramic eggs.

Her chicks are scheduled to hatch on 8/2.

If Phyllis hatches those eggs shout it from the rooftops. Bona fide miracle!

Thanks. She definitely wants to live. Her body is not cooperating as well as we would both like. She is a pretty amazing bird.
