Amazing, Jaffar is with me right now, and I’m rubbing his waddles (he likes that) I guess he feels my stress?
He’s such a good rooster!

Oh Bob! I am heartbroken over this news...I created an earlier post and then removed it once I realized that all might not be good and continued reading! I'm so sorry that I haven't been around to add my support to you with everyone else. You did everything you could to save those babies!Sylvie is Gone
Phyllis is still keeping her warm. I noticed that Phyllis was not moving around this morning and when I checked the chick was dead.
I assume i need to take the body from her but I thought I'd check and see if it is better if she leaves it on her own.
Enjoy the time with your beautiful little girl!Farewell for Now
I need to step away everyone. It's been too much.
Eve is here to see the chicks. So I am going to take advantage of that and spend the weekend concentrating on her.
I will likely be back on Sunday night.
Be nice to each other while I'm gone.
Thank you all for your wonderful support through all of this nightmare. I can never repay you all for it. You've been amazing.![]()
1 of my babies is a Phoenix. Hatchery's choice assortment and wow! She's the one with her head in the feed, front left. My Dorking is the one below her just for size comparisonI am so jealous! Phoenixs are on my *want* list. They are seriously hard to get out here but so beautiful!

No such thing as mine waiting I'm out of bed and rush like mad grabbing anything too put on.I am sitting here wondering if there is anyone who doesn’t chicken in their PJs - they do get up early in the morning and don’t like to be kept waiting!
Too think all I thought of in the beginning was too rescue him and hoped he would choose to stay, today and on many occasions he has kept my girls safe. He even protects my dog in his little way. What a great cat! You are most fortunate.
