I like the look of that kettle, is it all copper or stainless steel inside.
Thank you. It is copper. But copper shouldn't really come in contact with food so traditionally they are coated inside with a thin coating of tin.
I had it re-tinned as it was in pretty bad shape so now it is all lovely and safe inside.

Re: extra eggs

When eldest visits, I send him home with eggs. Hubby regularly gives them away at work. We thank the neighbors for not complaining about the noise with eggs. Have given to the mail carrier, show up armed with a dozen every dinner invite as a host thank you. I've even grabbed ppl I see regularly on my dog walks to come in and collect eggs 😂

When all of that still leaves us with too many, we make Dutch baby pancakes. 😊 add a little butter and fresh lemon and blueberries - divine!
(You can also put on powdered sugar, but that is too sweet for my liking)
Yay. Someone else who knows what a *Dutch Baby* is! It was a favourite with our kids topped with fresh fruit, cream & icecream.

I’m so proud of my Emily today, she laid a huge egg. (Biggest one I have seen in years) my sunshine would lay double yolks like it.
No, they love them

I know it is possible for them to cause issues, but mine eat slugs all the time, eggs are a delicacy. I would have to keep them locked in wire cages to keep them from eating them, living in the northwest they are everywhere.
up there, you get those banana slugs (found on the coast usually) and they are huge! Do you?
