I'm nearly to the point of splitting the tribe. I don't believe that I will be making any roost adjustments in the main coop at this point.

Piles of plywood, and wood stock from 2x2 to 4x10 (was here when I bought this property) so i kept all of it.

In general I know nothing about breeds - but you have one that is a dead-ringer for my Roadrunners and they are Crested Cream Legbars.
If you get blue eggs from her then it is for sure. It is only one of them.

I was writing about Henry The First and his partner.
The grey hens, at least the one in the picture above could well be legbars.
Henry's other half is in there somewhere. She doesn't have much to do with the others. She and Henry roost outside the coop, but under cover of the coop roof extension.

The run will be separated. The second coop is almost done. The littles are almost old enough to move out. This nonsense is almost over.

Of course there will then be new nonsense....

It may be nonsense to you but I'm sure it makes perfect sense to the hens.
