My girls must have had words tonight, Belle was in the nesting box when I went to close them up. Got her up on a roost.

And a question that has nothing to do with roosting haha, do we have EE’s here in Aus? I’ve seen Olive Eggers advertised but not Easter Eggers

Well, you could also be right. Mine are hatchery stock and their genetics are probably shaky at best.

Current theory is that Platina was suffering from a thiamine deficiency from medicated feed on top of a molt. We have switched to non medicated and I cooked some rice for her and the other girls. Usually they are hesitant with new foods, but they instantly knew they needed the rice. After the first initial offering, Platina isn't as crazy about the rice, but I left some in her mash that was mixed with vitamin water. Let's hope that once she's got some Thiamine in her she'll be doing better.

This is very interesting. I hope it works. Poor thing.

Wait… I never noticed that Hattie’s legs are black, not white? I thought all Orps had white legs. Silly me!

I think her legs are grey but close enough. All Orps do not have white legs though, that is for certain.
