I find the ones I use are really good. However, this site: https://www.tarpsplus.com/collections/clear-poly-tarps
has clear vinyl ones, too. Super clear and pretty strong (though not as strong as those you currently use) They are also more expensive, but they do last. Greenhouse plastic is good for 1-2 years - maybe 3 (generally - especially with this application), & doesn't have grommets. I have mostly the ones with the string embedded, but have a couple of the others that I tend to use on the south side or maybe on my mobile chicken tractor.

I have also been really happy with the shade 'tarps'/cloths I have gotten from them. My clear tarps with the strings (other than the first set on amazon) have been from them, too. They frequently (if you sign up/create an account) send coupon codes for an additional 10% off your order, and they have such a range of sizes, that you are sure to be able to get sizes that work for you.
I've cancelled the order that let me down and took your direction and It should be with me in a couple if days.

My last order made a second promise of three days as of today but only the one item they couldn't promise the attachments necessary too fix to the coop. :hmm:thunbelievably useless

Thank you. I am a bit stalled in my recovery unfortunately.
I got an issue in my inner ear which causes quite alarming vertigo.
I am learning what movements trigger it and trying to avoid them, but it is quite limiting and scary.
Sorry if that is TMI.
On the bright side it gave me the perfect excuse just to sit in the yard with the Princesses. Can’t get dizzy if I don’t move! It was a lovely sunny day for it.

I am trying to take care (mainly by holding on to walls and door frames!).
It is a recognized issue called B.P.P.V. Not uncommon as it turns out. Small crystals in the labyrinth of the inner ear break off and free float triggering the sense that you are moving when you aren't. So your feet tell you one thing and your ears another and as a result, your brain gets all messed up.
Sometimes it resolves on its own because the crystals basically dissolve and there is a series of movements you can try (or your doctor can do to you) that attempts to shift the little b***ers to some other place where they do less harm. It is extremely unpleasant to do because it triggers the vertigo in the worst possible way.
I have done it once and it was pretty effective - meaning I can now get in and out of bed more-or-less OK, and as long as I move slowly I can walk around normally and yesterday I was able to bend down to the right to pick up a chicken. Don't ask me to put a sock on my left foot or lace up a left boot however!
The maneuver leaves me exhausted and unsteady so I am waiting a day or so before trying again.
Sorry for definitely TMI on my decrepitude, so here is chicken tax of my three older ladies engaged in some serious chicken business. Rest In Peace Elizabeth.

I'm so sorry. That's sounds awful. I assume there is a treatment for it? I sure hope it goes away soon. :hugs :hugs

Beautiful photo. That is the best detail of her feathers yet. Just gorgeous. 🥰

Hey Bob, how is your SIL getting on with his broken leg?
He is doing very well. Thank you for asking. The doctors are pleased. He is able to bend the knee now but it is still non weight bearing. With physical therapy he is able to bend it 90° which is good. They got a cheap wheel chair so he can leave the house. That is nice for him.
