It is cold and a bit raw out, but when the sun came out Diana chose to sit by my side.
She is such a dear. I am pleased to see she is getting new feathers around her head but there are still lots of naked patches. I also worry about her shell-less eggs and now I think she may be losing weight (though she eats all the time). She is next in line for a weighing.

As I've said in Shadrach's thread. We have a mouse problem here.

I'm not a cruel person but I've let my cat know what's going on and he's out there now patrolling. I absolutely hate myself for this :(
Sorry you are feeling bad. You really do need to work on exclusion not just eradication.
I seriously have masses of experience of this unfortunately.
A female mouse has a litter every 6-8 weeks and there can be a dozen in each litter. Your cat won’t be able to keep up.
Is the problem in the coop or the house or both?

Coop most definitely! We are trying to hard wire inside and out but the delivery company I ordered my wire from has badly let us down. It should have arrived Thursday Friday at latest at 4pm ans nothing arrived. :he

I've a wonderful lad come today and patch up, it trapped them inside but they are still getting in

I think I need to find my cat a partner that can live outside and won't hurt my chickens. Thinking of a cat igloo

What beautiful colours, her wattles and comb are stunningly vibrant

Wow! Her comb is glowing!
I hope she weighs in nicely. These feathery friends sure make us worry...

Can chickens eat cottage cheese and pineapple? I’m sure they will, but is it okay for them to have it, (health wise)?
Cottage cheese is a yes. It's better for them than normal cheese because it has higher protein and lower fat.

I don't know about pineapple, sorry.
