Yes, i was a bit confused at that to, but a green legged partridge is apparently a poland type breed with green legs, i had two of these when Hatching and thought it was intresting how one had a very long eye mark, i did research and found out the females have eye marks and they can be detected from the males at 1 day old.Sorry, I can't help there.Maybe @Ribh ?
So...a green legged Partridge what? (Partridge is usually a brown coloring/pattern word...outside of the wild bird breed reference)![]()
That rooster has some chopstick legs! This is an old one, but still makes me laugh:View attachment 2924585
Thanks for pointing out the positive aspect here!I'm so glad you have this knowledge now and can work around the restrictions it brings.
Woo!Arizona came off her eggs today, and I candled two of them. (Difficult to tell if they have anyone inside)But at least, she’s getting some exercise. She doesn’t stay off of them for very long. She had feed and water, but she smells pretty bad
. I removed two broken eggs from the nest.
Yep “It’s an entirely new smell I have discovered”Woo!
Sansa has been molting since labor day. Something is very wrong. I'm waiting on the vet to get back to me.Yeesh! The top fluffy butt is looking less fluffy and more scraggly! Someone's having a bad molt!
