(A talker, and lets you know what she wants! - She hisses at me when she wants to go out at night and I tell her 'No!' Acts just like a kid having a tantrum, but there are too many predators for her to be safe out at night.)

I see that they have a sweeter heater that can be hung from the ceiling, see if it goes on sale in a bit and get one. I have to deal with USD so add 40percent to the cost !!

Sleeping In

It's 8:00 am and Phyllis is still in bed. It's 24°F in her coop, 21°F outside.

Someone came by to lay her egg but she was not impressed with the food dish being so close to her latest nest. She left without sitting down.

Meanwhile at the main coop, everyone pulled out onto the porch. Aurora even got onto the ramp but no one would go down onto the ground. There is snow down there.
