I can say with 100% certainty that the fluffy adorable silkies crowing sounds like someone stepped on a party horn that was broken. it is bad. well, got a silkie roo apparently!
Yep the first time one of the Silkies crowed my Arab mare about went through the stall wall hahaha, never having dealt with chickens before.... She gave me the 'that came from that' look haha.

It is 14F (-10C) and everyone is sheltering inside. But the sun just peeked through the trees and so Maggie rushes out to greet it. My little sun-worshipper is not going to let some crazy cold temperature get in her way.

That is cute. Everyone is taking turns on the porch today. Phyllis was the last one to be sunbathing.

I need someone to beat me on the head for the stupid move I just pulled. Water is froze off again which means carrying water out to the horses again. Get the first 2 buckets hung up no problem. Russ decides as I'm lifting the bucket up to hook it that it would be a good time to try to lick the back of my head. Like a idiot while still trying to hook the bucket I lean backwards to make him stop and pull something. Ended up dropping the bucket and have a ping pong ball sized knot under my armpit now. I should have just yelled at Russ or sat the bucket down to give him the ear scratches he wanted.
