I find that the horses help, when the chickies are out around the horses foraging even the crows and Ravens keep their distance.

But have to say I like having Crows, Ravens and Blue Jays around they are noisy and when they see any predators (dogs, cats, owls, hawks, etc) they make a huge fuss! The squirrels also are good at calling an alarm.

The chickies are learning to listen to them all.
