I'm worried how too deal with this on Tina

I've seen her plucking her own feathers now there's a gap.

No access to vets can someone give me a little direction please. View attachment 2976475
Are you sure there are no mites or lice? That is my first thought. If not that, I have no idea.

This is what I do. I have an oil filled radiator that is on the storage side of the coop to keep it away from the bedding.
Early on in my chicken keeping journey, I read a Canadian standard of care that suggested that the coop be kept between 0C to -10C, so that's what I aim for and it has worked well.
That Canadian standard is very interesting and conforms (more-or-less) to @BY Bob's advice to bring in Dotty when the teperatures get below the teens in Fahrenheit.
This exchange caused me to look up the differene between oil filled radiators and infra-red radiators and I learned a lot.
In case anyone else is interested I found this quite helpful. The Sweeter Heater is a special form of infra-red heater designed to be hung from the ceiling of a chicken coop.

This is what I got yesterday which is under $100.

I think it is pretty safe but I have it positioned so they can't get on top of it in case they burn themselves or topple it over but they can hang out in front of it and I have it near where the Roadrunners roosted last night so would definitely give them some heat.
I use one of these to heat my garage when I am going to work out there in the winter. They are excellent and very safe. This is a good choice to heat a larger space.
