Well, it’s done. I went into town (with my church friend) and put on two back tires to replace the ones that were vandalized. My friend knew the shop owner, and the slightly used tires I got (better than the ones I brought in) were replaced. When I asked how much?$ he just smiled and said “have a nice day “ I didn’t have to pay a penny. Then my church friend took me out to lunch (on him) yep, a very good day today! Also got 5 eggs from the chickens today too.

That's wonderful. There are good people in the world.

It is the one hole in my chicken viewing. I am very upset that I broke the mount.

I made a little buffet station in the Chicken Palace today. One each for oyster shell, crushed egg shells, and grit.

Honestly, this would have taken one quarter of the time without Dotty’s help.
She is constantly under, on top of, or attacking my feet!

That may be true...BUT....you DO need an inspector to certify the work...so without her, there could be no final sign-off

More about BoPeeps. If she sees me across the yard, she comes running up to me, stares at me “go ahead daddy, try and pet me, I dare you!” And when I reach out to do so, WHAM! She bites my hand. (Not only when I reach into the nesting box), but out in the yard too.
Little Xzit only pecks on my leg, lightly.
Emily isn’t here to peck me on my bottom anymore (I kinda miss that) sometimes I just go back inside the house so I don’t get harassed! Rant over. Here’s the tax:

Porch Cam

Porch can is up and running. As @ChicoryBlue said, zip tie and a board. Here is the fix. I had to do holes in the base and zip tie it to the board.

I then flipped on the camera and recorded Betty search for an alternate roost so she doesn't have to sleep with Phyllis. She gets in some serious exercise!

I just love the view from this camera. I think this was way overdue.

You are so right - New Jersey and my township in particular are known for very intrusive building inspectors - so I shouldn't really be surprised!

I'm so far behind, I don't recall who is thinking of naming a roo Napoleon, and Nappie for short. Just FYI, in case this changes your mind... "nappie" is British English for diaper.
