I will be checking her for that and weighing her to see if she may be holding water weight. if she is not egg bound it's of to the vet if I can get her in.I see her tail pumping a bit. What could the black poo indicate? Apart from something they have eaten. Has she been doing this for a while?
Coccidiosis can also cause black poo. These are not really the symptoms of Coccidiosis though.Just to be clear, that's an example.

Check out what she is doing. Part of the time she is a normal chicken and then she just stops and sits like this. She was free ranging like normal a minute before she sat down here.
I am concerned to say the least but she is not leaving her friends and going to roost like Hattie. I will give her tonight but I may need to act tomorrow.
