How nice of you to say.Well, for the novice that doesn't understand chicken behavior. You are a very learned, perceptive and accommodating owner.
Mine are white crested black polish and black copper Maran and I have not heard of all black of either breed.Does the Polish come in all black? I thought it was white crested black.... and I think the Marans has the copper rather than 100% black (officially anyway)...not a Marans expert though, and not going to bug our expert on this one.
I think sleeping with Lilly and Hattie would be wonderful. So many lovely stories to hear.Poor Betty, she really wants to be with Phyllis at night...but Phyllis isn't accommodating.![]()
Yeah I remember having one mortally injured and I had to deal with it with a rock. Hurt my shoulder like you wouldn’t believe that day but I put it out of its suffering. I prefer the plastic snap traps, I’ve had more success with those. Not last night though by all the poop on my counter this morning and two empty traps…But it's ok to eat horse poop and Snakes hahaha
I don't like traps as more often than not it doesn't kill the out right. I have had them cut in half, legs caught, dragging trap around... Ugh then i have to them.
No easy answer with vermin ...
This is quite popular in some ethnic markets…I just had my silkie cross Roos processed and the meat is very dark along with the skin. I gave them to my aunt as I won't eat them, I raised them and they were my pets
But I am not opposed to others getting enjoyment from them, my aunt commented on how dark the carcass was.... That's the silkie in them.
I remember when it had grass like that.
Too much other good food to eat. So they avoided the trap.Yeah I remember having one mortally injured and I had to deal with it with a rock.
