I love guessing games! They have not divulged their names to me yet.
Right now their main skill is in convincing me that I have killed them. I relaxed a bit this morning when I saw they were pretty lively.
This may be literally the only time in my life when I know something that others don't about a chicken breed!
In theory I know what they are and even which is which so all guesses welcome. I will be happy to supply pictures of any part of each Princesse-in-waiting and from any angle. I already need to upgrade my data plan to accommodate the number of photos I took of them and I haven't even had them 24 hours yet. They were hatched on Monday and I went to collect them yesterday.
I am very behind, wish I could keep up, but saw through notifications you got chicks, I was so excited! Must have missed any talk beforehand about it though in catching up to here, seems out of the blue. Congratulations to you, Faithful Palace Servant!
No ideas about breed, but the upright posture of the black one that drank and drank in your thirsty Thursday video was striking. Must say that Hazel here is definitely female but seems to naturally stand much like a rooster, she forms a perfect L. Wondered if that's a function of her role as Sentinel, or just the way she stands.
