No. Not at all. I sometimes think I should work on her behavior but then I settle for just letting be.

Yes. I think she is telling me I am a friend but I must remember that I am below her in the pecking order (I knew that anyway!). She treats her sister Minnie the same way.

Remember, you are dealing with royalty. There is protocol in that situation!

I do feel for RC. I know what it’s like to be a servant, surf, underdog, and abused by my feathered family. So taken for granted, disrespected, even pooped on!

Ummm gecko! Lizard not amphibian… I was watching for our Rough skinned newts on the road near the gate on the way home from showersbLast night and spotted this giant snail smack in the middle of the road. I have large hands

do you 'tuk tuk tuk' to them? I think of it like a chicken momma softly singing chicken lullabies. I bet they would like and get used to that!

That's why I get them into the coop as soon as I can manage. They need to learn from the others. I have administered a "peck" to the back when the bigger birds are too rough and theyre within reach. Silver and Pear have used that (and pecks to the legs) to administer discipline. middle of o dark thirty thought: wonder if that's what Dottie is attempting with RC->move over, or something like. Pecking back may help, or may make it worse...
