It is only a pale yellowish color. I really am not so sure about it being a barred rock, though, ignoring supposed egg color and assuming it was the MMM, as so far, there really isn't barring on the wings, just some white tips....which hasn't been my experience for either BR nor CM. I'm really confused. I'll try for some good shots of the wing (spread) tomorrow.
My hubby is taking me out for dinner tonight (we haven't gone out to eat since the pandemic started!!) AND, it is via a gift card an acquaintance gave him because he brought his tractor up to land they bought to move a log cabin kit to where it was to be built. It was very generous of him ($100 to a local brewery/restaurant), and my husband was happy to help him - he is a really nice guy.
