Well it took over 11 weeks but it finally happened. Mom was sitting with the horses with the hooligans all around her when she hollered at me to come outside. I get out there and she is staring at her phone and then the "Cinnamon Queens". I'm met with "what are they, they are NOT Cinnamon Queens. My what do you mean did not go too far. My mother who is terrible at chicken breeds went on with, they were the wrong color with too much black, wrong combs so what did she have. I admitted I did not know. I told her they could be Cinnamon Queens with rose comb parentage. They could be rose comb Rhode Island Reds or EEs. I also told her they have a couple more juvenile molts and they probably would loose those the black feathers over time. She ended up calling the lady at Rural king a few names and swears she is never buying chicks there again.
