@rural mouse I am about to hit 6000, which is also about 2/3 of the existing posts.I made it to April 2021! And page 3924! Total pages 5990. Wonder if I can hit 4000 before the page count hits 6000...

I know. I'm up to 24, just moved the 5 (was 3, but went back and got 2 more from MIL) rejected babies into the coop. Almost 2 weeks old and their adopted hatch mate is spending a 2nd night up on the roost with mama and her hatchling.
I found a 3 egg nest in the carport today. It wasn't there this morning, but Storm and 2 white egg layers put them there today. They're gettiby aneaky.I have noticed that the egg production is down lately. Maybe it’s because of the weather getting hotter. Just when demand for the eggs gets stronger. The ladies lay off their production. Such is life, I guess.
