This is amazing! I wish you had shared this sooner! I will be listening while I work today! Not going to make a habit of this but I know Bob is a fan of Anthony Snape and he does a live stream once a week. He’s a fabulous talent for anyone who loves music and he’s online now, every week at this time:

What a wonderful gift it would be if it is Snowy's.Winter eggy!
I opened the door to the hen house this afternoon and there was an egg on the ground! At first I thought it was Nyssa as it’s speckled, but then I looked again and thought it looked a bit smaller, and wondered if it was Snowy’s first egg.

Could you elaborate more on that? How do you safely catch and relocate a skunk?i caught and relocated the skunk to Gorge Washington National forest
Marvelous!Mugshots for Monday.
Bernadette has been chowing down on her Vitamin mash and Minnie has spotted something crawling and undoubtedly yummy.

Now that is a very fine dusting hole. Great work there Maggie.Maggie dug a really deep hole. She is well below the level of the apron designed to deter digging predators.
When we built the Chicken Palace I didn’t think I had to have an apron to prevent digging chickens from tunneling their way out!

Me too. I was looking to finish the rebuild in the old prefab coop and I am using three strips of 1/4 plywood which I saved from the Cluckle Hut to piece a floor together.Fortunately I have the door, wire and roofing. I save everything now down to the smallest piece of scrap wood.
I know it's hard but if she is still enjoying life you made the right decision. It is hard to hear of another Daisy coming to the end. I know it was hard with my girl. I understand what you are going through. Keep being strong for her.I'm sorry I've been away a few days, been dealing with grandma drama and have just not had the energy to spend time on the computer. I need to update that Daisy is still with us. That dust bath she took lasted 2 hours. When she was finished and walked away she was walking normally again, the penguin stance was gone and she also went back to eating with gusto. I was ready, had the hole dug but watching her afterwards I could not do it. Maybe I should have, but she is having mostly good days again. I know very soon the time will come and I will have to. If she either goes off her food or I see that stance once more that will be it.
That is an odd one.Gathered an odd shaped egg this morning View attachment 3147106
