Oh you are all such terrible enablers. I have a massive poison ivy issue all around the barn. Frankly a herd of goats could grow fat on poison ivy alone!Um, correct me if I am wrong, but you have long wanted that barn repaired/improved. What a GREAT trade-off. Repaired barn for the honor of hosting some adorable Nubians. Win-win in my opinion!
Besides, they will keep some of the brushy/woody weeds in check. Including poison Ivy & bittersweet.![]()
Yes - I am basically assuming everyone can eat vitamin B so I can get some in Bernadette and worst case I can pull her off the roost at night and pop a capsule in her.Once Hector got outside on a regular basis, his feet settled down really quickly...I also added a handful of rice krispies to the scratch for all of them. (It has a B vitamin smorgasbord in it) It won't hurt the others and is available in a way that gets them outside.
I'm on your side RC. No one knows you and your needs better than you do.Oh you are all such terrible enablers. I have a massive poison ivy issue all around the barn. Frankly a herd of goats could grow fat on poison ivy alone!
But I do NOT need goats. I do not need floppy eared goats!
Yup - already done. There's an interesting poll available if you'd like to participate. @U_Stormcrow started it to gather data on chicken keeping arrangements.

I so sorry. For Xzit and you both.Xzit broke one of her eggs. I had to give her a bath, and clean up her broody box. (Stains of yolk and blood) so it was possibly fertile.![]()
They really do seem to be a pair!Yes, a white hen should be FBA fixture. Will you name her after TGHE?
I know I'm anthropomorphising, but the polish is leaning in and saying cheeeeeeese! And they both look so happy.
I need to look closer at their legs. They both seemed grey to me. I think The Polish's legs might actually be the darker of the two. What colour are the other two's legs? My guess is slate grey and off white
