I just love her coloring (and her name)! Her comb is lovely but rather sane compared to the Roadrunners. It has a very interesting spike pattern - you could say it is frilly rather than crinkle-cut (and frilly sounds so much more girly!).

Some idiot is lighting off fireworks in the neighborhood. (My little rooster buddy is very afraid of fireworks and loud bangs) so Jaffar is now inside the house with me. I set his alarm crowing for 5:30 am . I’m off to check on my horse Chaco and then property in the morning. Right after breakfast.

Scary (RIP) who wasn’t scary enough to save herself from the fox. Her death precipitated me joining this thread as I was heartbroken and guilt ridden at my first loss and I felt only this group would understand.
