Gucci can perch but she does not jump. The leg is still an issue and outside of vitamin B I'm not certain what to do about it.

Time, just give it time. She will learn to adapt and figure things out. Birds are very smart and adaptable.

My experience with Hector re vitamin b deficiency: no change....no change.....no change....no change....HUGE difference. I've now added rice krispies (in expensive yet simple vitamin booster) to the pellets for the foreseeable future....and just now thought about doing them on the side like the oyster shell...

Yesterday was a great day and today I hope to do some coop maintenance and water my pecan trees before it gets hot.

How did this happen? Little Coco was already outside running in the yard, before I let the rest out. I’m going to have to beef up the security in the run today I guess. I counted all eight of them last night. Yes, I understand that it’s Coco. But if she can get out, predators can get in! Crazy chooks!
