If any hardened criminal saw how gentle you are with your animals you would never had made an arrest because they wouldn't have taken you seriously.My career taught me, that when I had to get involved with certain people, arrests were performed and the courts would do the judging. I was only the instrument of the court system. (I wasn’t exposed to innocent people on a regular basis)

It can take a while. I taught one (she learned after just one demo) and I never removed other sources of water. I wasn’t sure if they had all learned but I have now seen them all (including the new Hooligans) use it.I showed mine over and over. Put their beaks in it, etc. No takers yet.
Note @micstrachan on a really hot day, I wouldn't risk removing all water, as it is critical they stay hydrated in this heat........I should have put that caveat in my previous post....
