We've finally decided on a name for this little chick/pullet, we just picked Lea. Friendly, simple and sweet like she is.

And the slow grower is still with us and still growing. It looks more and more like a pullet. However it is very human shy, and we can't bribe it with food as it gets told off by the three others. We're still not giving it a name so as not to tempt fate and we call it piou-piou, the sound chicks make in french 🐤. They are over eight weeks old now.

Lovely. Lea (or Leah) is on my list of possible chicken names. One of my grandmothers was called Leah. The other was called Aunty Minnie (not her real name). So I was thinking maybe I need to balance out the grandmothers!

She is very good with the hens! What's her name?
Lexi. She was raised with them. I trust her completely with them. The only trouble we’ve ever had is when she’s so obsessed with the ball or frisbee, she runs through the birds. She knows what “gentle” means. ❤️ One good thing about her obsession with the ball is that I can easily quickly place her at any place in the yard by throwing the ball there with a Chuck It stick.
They are so sociable chatting away.

Please throw the ball for that adorable dog :love
i did. Many times. LOL.
