I came out of my office unexpectedly the other day and I found these on the floor in the dining room.

Clearly someone had been shooed out before they could finish. Then yesterday I caught the culprit red beaked.

Frankly they can change their names if they want. It does not mean I have to use the new names. Rosie is resisting Cricket's name change as she was the one who named her. She said her middle name can be Spot.

Call her whatever they want to call her. But she’s always going to be Cricket to me. Her name fits perfectly fine, why change it?!

Listen Kelly, my combined properties are worth 5 million US dollars . But the economic status of the United States is fluctuating due to a lack of true leadership (thanks to you Biden) moron. And if I sold out now, I’d pocket maybe $ 2 million. Unrestricted taxes would swallow up any profits. So I’m keeping whatever I have and buying more. (It’s called REAL ESTATE, for a reason)

Actually, capital gains is capped at 12% So, you pay 12% on profits/increase (minus depreciation that you have probably been deducting on taxes.) If you have lived in the property (as primary home) any 2 of the last 5 years....no gains tax.

This past year has seen record home prices in my area...partially due to tight labor market...so people have moved up the income ladder, and partially due to not enough homes,and finally, due to extrordinarily low mortgage rates. Mortgage rates are going up...making cost of buying going up...and slowly affecting market of houses...past month sales have decreased beyond seasonal adjustment. But this has been a bit of a bubble, so prices should settle down a bit to true value of homes.

I like Cricket as well, called her that since day 1. If I had known that the spots were going to multiply, I may have went with spot back then. I cannot now. And Twig can never be changed if mom gets the idea. I'm having too much fun with the nicknames Twiglet and Twiggy.
