I know what it is, the transmitter/ receiver needs to be re-paired, but it fuddle climbing ladders, disconnect Ethernet cables…

And somehow I managed to get pine sap in my hair and couldn’t get it out - I got angry grabbed the scissors and hacked it out 😳 hahaha thankfully I long hair so I can hide the hacked out section.

Ok IOU tax for whining Bob

I don't remember this one. Either way it's cute. 🥰

I decided to crack my two green eggs for breakfast this morning. This is what I got.

At least she's consistent.

Wow! Are her feathers sleek to her body or is she Fluffy?
She and Maggie are similar - their feathers are sleek but there is a lot underneath.
When Maggie molts it is like tearing the fabric on an over-stuffed chintzy sofa - the fluffy stuffing sort of spills out of the rip. I suspect that is what Bernie will be like.

Events in the night
For some reason I woke up just before midnight. I too am addicted to my cameras so when I woke I checked on my feathered babies.
SHOCK - there were only three on the roost.
LULU IS MISSING!!!!
I scan the cameras for her lifeless body ready to leap out of bed if she is hurt or in trouble.
What I see is her jumping into the nest boxes. In the dark!
Here she is peering into the dark for a landing spot (reminder - all the books say chickens cannot see at night!).

I fell back asleep and this morning when I woke at 5am there were four chickens on the roost.

LULU IS BACK ❤️❤️

Looking at the recordings I learned that at about 1:30am she emerged from the nest box and went back up to the roost.

She is behaving normally this morning, and no egg was laid in the night.

I hope she is just eccentric, or needed privacy to communicate to the aliens, and it is not a sign of illness.
:fl
That really is something! You know my lot. Hattie has debunked that can't see at night thing a million times over.

Could it be she is still figuring this egg laying thing out and getting false signals somehow?

She is a big girl then. Wow.

I really, really hope that is the explanation.
