I posted this over on @Ribh thread as a Koffee Klatch post because it reminded me so off Ned and Lucky and how Koffee Klatch got started. I don't know if she is patient enough to hang out for a while but she has been up on the chair the times in 90 minutes!

I really, really hope that is the explanation.

So one of mine did this the other day. I don't know if it was a roost lay or they just decided to lay it here. With everyone laying in Hattie House, I have not been checking the main coop.

Given her history, I always get a kick out of Bernadette running. And here we also have Lulu looking like herself. Yesterday and the day before she was just sitting. Looks like she got her FOMO back!

It is great to see her run!

And I love seeing Lulu moving well too.

That really is something! You know my lot. Hattie has debunked that can't see at night thing a million times over.

Could it be she is still figuring this egg laying thing out and getting false signals somehow?

I completely agree about seeing in the dark. They don't see as well (kind of like us )- no moon and it is difficult to see - but the better you know your area, the more you can make out things you know. When there is some moonlight, it is easy to navigate known places. My chickens do move around some at night as well.

First, why do chickens always attack the perimeter first? I do not understand that tendency.

I love the use of the truck cap. That's ingenious. It looks like a great set up for them.

My hubby was gonna throw the cab away Im like nope Imma give it to my chickens for cover and play!
