I am alive; but I tell you I have just had the worst 24 hrs, so ill exhausted, body aches, fever, savage sore throat (still have that) some coughing massive headache, and then nausea and throwing up. Of course not having eaten anything all I was doing was dry heaving.

My stomach muscles are protesting right now , but the worst is the sore throat, trying to work it’s way up into my sinuses. Add in runny nose and constant streaming eyes…. 00:08hrs on Thursday - thirsty Thursday - so o am having a cuppa bovril, every swallow a journey in serious agony, but I feel a bit better.

How crazy that my mum had this few days before me, and all she had was a mild cold symptoms for a few days. Me I have been brewing this since Saturday! And so ill. Of course she has had her four full doses of the jab, were as I only had 4…. Bad Kelly!

But I am upright and not too bad all considering. I might even have another bovril!

Mr Pompei is going to need his golden locks pinned up to keep them out of his food and water! (Ok going to be gross here: long hair an vomiting don’t mix )

I'm glad you are upright but sad to hear how badly this is affecting you. Hopefully it won't be for much longer.

Awwwww

One of my grey gals is bound and determined to sleep in the shavings section on top of my cars winter tires I have stored there! I move her every night back to the hen house

Maybe she fancies this spot ?

Gucci has never wound up in the same place twice. I can't say that she favors any place except her spot in the coop.

Flood watch issued to to possibility of flash floods (on a hill, so no worries, nothing happening below us either).

Cheetah already crowing, but if I open the coop now, they're all going to look at me like I'm cracked.

So happy to see Lulu up bright and early and having a refreshing sip of clean water.
She is looking good today and didn’t get up in the middle of the night.
