I think it was 7. At one point I thought 8 because there is another one in the grass, but I think it is one that went around and was already counted.
When I first watched the video I couldn’t believe how they kept appearing!
They were living in the barn and I had seen them out on that bit of gravel a few times so I put the trail camera there.
Mom does look pretty exhausted! She was a good hunter - she would leap up and grab the mocking birds/gray catbirds out of the sky and they would gang up and fly at her as a mob but it didn’t deter her.
Amazing to watch them. If only they did not eat chickens I could really enjoy them. Much like hawks.

Hello Fluffy butts ! I did what I could to get some pictures after lunch. We have a huge storm forecasted for this afternoon so I've been trying to do all I could to make it safe, thunder's rumbling now and I'm expecting power and internet will be down soon. My partner's working today (he's a bus driver) and of course he'll be driving the bus back in our mountains gorges just at the time the storm should be the worse 🙄.

Please stay safe. I love these photos. 🥰

Dottie jumps on me everyday. Yesterday she let me pet her for the first time without much noise. Today I pet her some more with no noise and she stayed on my leg and back. She and I are pretty close. 😍

It is a special thing to have a trusting bond like that. 👍

The pecking order is weird Dottie doesnt follow Malefacent and has her own followers, and malefacent has her own followers and the 2 of them will butt heads (no blood draw). I guess I have one flock with two gangs lol.
That could happen. I think I sort of have that right now with my three new ones.

No very sick I did get to clinical Covid and strep throat likely - now made worse by my throwing up.

Gave up at work told coworker to take over.

Mum call 911 last night I was having issues with tight chest and just not well , just very unwell, hard to explain but I had her freaked out. The medics checked me out heart was good so they offered to take me in but I told them if I got worse I would call back.

Just miserable vicious sore throat with pain pouring out my ears (that’s how I discribe it), tight chest, can’t cough it’s pure agony.

Poor animals I did a drive by threw out feed and that was it. Mum is out doing chores now.

Ok can’t type anymore
Paxlovid in first five days, inquire!
