I won’t use sticky traps. Too cruel.

Well, I did dispatch them quickly....but felt terrible doing it, and they had already 'learned' the snap traps...I was desperate. But then they figured out how to subvert them, too! Darm rats. I didn't know they were smart.....I guess that is one reason they use rats & mice in lab testing (mazes, etc.)

Maybe I need to hire you @RoyalChick .

BTW, how is your housey mousey doing?

I installed fancy new sweeps at the bottom of the garage doors. Supposed to be rodent proof.

Whiskey is curious

So is Cuckoo (or hoping for more sardines)

Even her head is a pincushion

Grooming on the woodpile

Sentinel while resting (his tail is looking fantastic)

If his tail ever gets the long feathers....

Short naps to let the feathers grow

He's getting a bit rumpled too (and is missing most of the side tail feathers)

What are you doing?!

Getting a drink after a private sardine feed. She's not quite as dont touch me.

Hasn't started moulting yet, but perfect way to end the mugs...with a fluffy too

Mice carry fleas, that then find my birds. I’m not thinking that mice are cute little critters. Rather a nuisance in the coop and in my house. I have no regrets.
