So many years ago, we would trick-or-treat all week of the last of October. (My dentist really appreciated that!)

Oh my it has turned into a whole week affair these days lol. My son’s preschool celebrated it today, the local trunk or treat the fire department puts on was this evening (thats where they scored the loot) my daughters in kindergarten and their party is tomorrow. All kinds of more things I could take them to Friday and Saturday evening if I wished to really load them up but nope that it they do NOT need even more candy it’s crazy. When i was a kid it was school stuff and one night of door knocking but alas things have changed greatly.

Sorry should have read backwards faster I am brewing a virus or something is my only excuse… headache, stomach ‘issues’, feeling blah - tis the season for all sorts of gifts! Would rather candy tho!

I’m looking at this logical. The more time I spend in this room, the less money I spread out to the city who has enough money already!

My mother would say you can’t take it with you, enjoy yourself!

Awll ty not really its just the timing for this worked out. My husband is a locomotive engineer and travels on call so he was here it was an event we could attend together so we loaded em up! There are events like this trunk or treat all week and weekend scattered around in various towns around us. This one just worked out so the whole family could go.

And then the cupcakes! And candy apples, popcorn balls , sometimes cotton candy too!
