She got 'sliced' (side & thigh), plus thigh bone broken, by either a fox or raccoon. Suspect fox, as I think a racoon would have grabbed and pulled hard enough she would be dead. but🤷‍♀️. Anyways, splinted as best I could (squirming chicken ,trying to hold leg in place, and wrap securely with splints, by yourself, is a bit of a challenge.) last Monday morning removed splint (after 6 full days!) and leg was knitted enough to be 'firm'. She, at that point, could move upper lag some, but not at all lower leg nor toes. Been doing therapy 2 - 3 times a day...and in just shy of a week, there is noticeable improvement, so I am hopeful. (If she didn't regain any use of leg, 'hopping' soley on one leg would not have been good enough quality of life. BUT: if she can at least 'limp on it', I think she will be okay!)

Well she sure is doing well! Balancing with just ‘touch weight bearing’, is a good sign. Give it at least 12 weeks.
