Sorry for the lack of updates but I was racing the dark. They're is a roof in the coop and they have roosts. I will post details after I clean up.

Oh, gosh. I’m gonna have to go back and see what happened. Did a tree damage the coop?

I know. It's cute but sad. Chickens are not meant to be dressed like a little dog. You know, dogs that are smaller than my cat.

I don’t know, those hen aprons were sure a life saver for the silkies when it was sub zero here last winter

Oh, gosh. I’m gonna have to go back and see what happened. Did a tree damage the coop?

No the roof was rotten way worse than I thought. I had been keeping it dry inside with a tarp on top. This is what I found when I went to take it off today.

On top of that the birch tree is dying. I'm very lucky that the trunk did not break and go through the roof. So the roof came off today and the tree trunk came down.

It's been a busy weekend. I repaired the deck yesterday. I've been going nonstop with this beautiful weather. I'll probably fall asleep shortly.

I love doing things like this. My creative brain is challenged by it. Take the floor situation today. Frustrating but I found a solution.
