I think it should be the deeper, 'eggplant purple' if you go with purple. That said, it seems Mrs By Bob has some good aesthetics, so you could probably throw all the possible options at her...and she will immediately discard many she feels are unworthy, and thoughtfully ponder the remaining! I am sure whatever she selects will look lovely. (and, the great thing about paint is that, if she decides it really doesn't work...next year can be repainted.....)
That is always true. We can always repaint. We still need to paint the pool shed as well. Perhaps a new color could tie everything together.

So Bernie is not trying to steal the wall ? I see they are in the middle of the roost.
Oh yes. Bernie still steals the wall. And then in the course of the night they both shuffle towards the middle.
Crazy chickens!
That picture was 5:20am when I was out looking for the blood moon.
Here they are a few hours earlier.

1) Dark green, so from the air look less obvious
2) Black. Black goes with everything.
3) Light brown/beige
4) Dark, chocolate brown

My personal choice would be either 1 or 4. (or, of course, your original option of white)

Color Tax:
(I hope this spoiler works!)

That is what you get when you give your chooks 'red (purple, really) cabbage and a deep orange squash to eat in the same day!
White is a good colour because it reflects the sunlight keeping the coop cooler 😊

Hattie is Mad at Me

We were all over on the patio this morning and Hattie would not come over. She stood over under the apple tree complaining. So I went over and picked her up and brought her to everyone. She is not speaking to me now despite the fact that she is having fun scratching around with them on new ground.

The indignity of it all.

Hattie, keeping her distance from me.
